The place has potential but I could not eat the food :-( It seemed like left over freezer food that had been reheated in the microwave. The fries were soggy, the Mac was ice cold in spots and scolding in other spots, and the bbq chicken was fatty, cool, and not good :-( I really hate to leave a bad review but maybe it will help in some way. Not sure why there’s bad reviews. This guy has a daily lunch special for $5 for six solid wings and fries with bacon and cheese on them. You can’t really complain about that with that kind of deal in 2026. This is also soul food rare to Eugene that reminds me of the south. Service was fine. People were complaining about the ingredients but the reality is all small business restaurants get their ingredients from local grocery stores, nothing wrong with that. Pretty good vibe in the sitting area too
Waited over 20 minutes in line and I was the only person in line and never got my order even taken
