My partner booked a weekend stay at Heaven in the Hills for my birthday, hoping for a peaceful getaway. Unfortunately, our experience did not quite match the glowing reviews we had read. We stayed in the 'Eastbound train carriage', which turned out to be only half a carriage divided by an adjoining wall. “Heaven in the hills” in Reesville, is a wonderful secluded weekend holiday destination. It’s quiet and the bungalows are well fitted out for a relaxing retreat.
Not Great. Water pressure was poor. No Hot Water!!!! No Plug in the sink to do dishes & had to boil the kettle because there was No Hot Water!
My husband, our fur baby, and I stayed at Heaven in the Hills for our anniversary, and we absolutely loved it. It’s not easy finding truly dog-friendly accommodation, so we were delighted to discover this gem. The property is so peaceful and quiet—perfect for anyone wanting to escape the noise and recharge for a few days. Absolutely amazing star. Train cabin room was amazing with great views of sunset. Bradford was amazing and very friendly and willing to help with any needs if we needed. 100% will be back again to check more of what this wonderful place has to offer
