I recently had a heat pump installed and can say, without reservation, that it was a great experience. The installation process uses a team approach. Special mention to Rod Alfaro for his patience and expertise in mapping out the most efficient wiring and equipment layout, and to Ahmad and his team for executing the work. The installation went well and the team was professional, but getting an issue resolved required significantly more time and follow-up than expected. In the end it was taken care of, though the process could have been smoother.
Rod worked with me to on speccing a tricky 3rd floor heat pump installation and matched me with the installers Julian & Mat. Rod cut my initial estimated costs and Julian completed the installation in only a single day - WAY ahead! We had to interact with dozens of other contractors previously that refused to work on MURBs but the heatpump.ca team pushed through and got things done. THANK YOU!
The job got done but was extremely difficult each step of the way. They took credit card info over the phone but then didn’t send an invoice or receipt even though I requested which made me worry it was a fraud. They weren’t truthful about when they could install the unit. They came 7 hours late (at 5 pm) and communication was one-sided from me to understand if they were coming at all.
