I was not due for my regular vision check up but I recently visited Nelly at Heathmont Optical because of a problem with my vision. Nelly was so helpful and got me an appointment immediately with an ophthalmologist. She spent a good deal of time with me and then speaking with the ophthalmologist. By the time I left Nelly had a full waiting room! I was so grateful that she was prepared to spend the additional time to get me the best care possible. Thanks Nelly! Anne

I highly recommend Nelly at Heathmont Optical, not only because Nelly and Derek are warm and friendly but because Nelly's care and attention to detail is well above other optometrists. The whole process from start to finish is very professional and I now have prescription glasses that work perfectly compared to the previous pair that were not made accurately by another optometrist. I am always exceptionally pleased with the service at Heathmont Optical as Nelly and Derek spend time with me to choose the appropriate frames and will happily discuss any questions or concerns that I may have. Nelly is a fantastic optometrist who is very thorough, making sure she tests every aspect of my eye health and her attention to detail is amazing. I have been seeing Nelly for years as well. I have always trusted whatever she has told me and have found her a wonderful optometrist who goes above and beyond for the care of her patients. I would highly recommend her clinic and services for any need or questions you may have about your eyes or a family member’s eyes. She contacts you when you are waiting for contacts or new glasses to let you know they are ready for pick up. I have been a attending Heathmont Optical since I was 17, now 29 years later I continue to attend the practice and also take my children there. Nelly is a wonderful optometrist, she is kind and patient, and genuinely cares about her patients wellbeing. Nelly is thorough and always makes sure that she has checked every aspect of your eye health at each visit. I highly recommend Nelly to anyone young and old for regular eye checks.
