The apartment is fine. Most of the problems here are things to do with other tenants- so the management team can’t do much there. But the real issue for me is how long it takes to get maintenance requests taken care of. It’s preposterous. It took weeks to replace my microwave over the holidays. Months to fix some blinds. It took them months to address a problem with drain flies and that ended up costing me several hundred dollars in food I had to throw out because it was infested with bugs. Submitted a request to have a broken light fixture replaced. Came within 48 hours, replaced the fixture and bulbs with minimal hassle. Now my hallway is well lit again.
This apartment complex operates like a scam. When we moved in, the unit was already damaged — broken doors, scratched walls, and a bathtub that was rusty, peeling, and clearly neglected for years. Before moving in, we specifically asked the manager about the condition of the tub and other things . He promised that it would be repaired and assured us that we would not be charged since it was old property damage. None of these issues were ever fixed during our lease. My experience here overall has been good. The office and maintenance staff are friendly and responsive. I appreciate how well kept the grounds are. Can't beat the location.
