Worst bedside manner I have ever experienced from a medical professional. Completely dismissed my symptoms and concerns and offered no care plan. (I have now found an incredible provider at UW) My neighbor had the exact same experience with Dr Galgon and the nurse doing my intake made comments that made it clear Dr Galgon is degrading to the staff as well. There are lots of wonderful PM&R doctors out there, Dr Galgon is not one.
If I were to rate Dr. Galgon, I'd give her a 6+ rating if 5 is maximum. I've been a patient of Swedish for over 20 years with her department. Two of her predecessors were my doctors. All three had similar approaches and are excellent doctors. They all are quality oriented and have very positive attitudes. First, Dr. Galgon is an expert on a medical technical level. 1st visit went well. Professional, good listener, competant, explained things well. 25 min late for a 45 min appt. Worth the wait. Until my second visit ruined "the vibe": 2nd visit-- Late again, felt very rushed, explained imaging well, did not ask how the chronic back pain was affecting me day to day, referred out AND GAVE NO RECCOMMEMDATIONS OR TREATMENT options at all.
