Dr. Kim and her nurses have a fantastic practice and if my insurance changes again to one that accepts IU Health I will try to get back in her care. She listens, she takes the time to explain her recommendations and still doesn't shame me when I don't take one for whatever reason. And since the emergency protocols lifted she is probably the only doctor I've seen, even when I'm at an appointment specifically for an unknown respiratory infection and coughing, who responds to my wearing a mask by putting on one herself just to ... read more
While I'm not a patient of Dr. Kim my mother and sister are she's absolutely amazing with them. Listens to what we have to say and discusses options.
I feel extremely privileged to have found. Dr Kim. She is a very compassionate and knowledgeable droctor. I have had numerous health issues. She always takes the time to listen, and is extremely thorough. It feels as. if she truly cares. She has never rushed through an appointment,, and almost makes you feel as if you are her only patient. She is quick to order tests and referrals to other specialists when the need is indicated. I really like this doctor, but it is a shame that patients, especially patients of color are ill-treated in the IU health system. I've been waiting a year for a yearly appt and was called about 3 weeks out from appt day in July stating that I can see her nurse practitioner instead "she can do the same thing a doctor can do" (then why is her title NOT doctor?! Furthermore, last time I saw an NP I was misdiagnosed with pneumonia) or be rescheduled 6 months out. No apologies no nothing. Clearly they are just calling patients an... read more
