I had my nexplanon contraceptive implanted here in 2017. In January 2020, I decided to have it removed due to the side effects it had on me. The doctor (Dr. Heather Wilson) asked what side effects I had and I mentioned weight gain as one. She asked if I wanted to try a new birth control, and I said no due to personal reasons. Dr. Wilson is amazing. She was my OB for 3 of my babies. She is very knowledgeable, friendly, and skilled. She always made me feel comfortable, even when I had some complications. She is very trustworthy. I have moved to Orlando, and sadly, have not found the medical care here to even come close to the skilled, caring treatment I always received from Dr. Wilson. She's good enough to where I would consider flying to Louisville for my future care.
Highly recommend Dr. Wilson. I met with her only once but she was wonderful--clear, kind, and made me feel safe and comfortable.

I just had an induction labor this Monday and everything went on well and smoothly with Dr. Wilson's help. The baby come earlier than we expected and Dr. Wilson had to rush to the delivery room at midnight. We really appreciate her and the staff there for the whole delivery and also the routine visit.
Extremely profressional. It was as if I knew her great delivery, all due to her and her wonderful staff.
