I’ m a retired MD with 40 years of academic and teaching experience, and I have trusted Dr. Hansen’s judgement and care for myself and many patients over the years. Highly trustworthy responsible and caring. Superb at explaining thoughts and plans, by far the best rheumatologist I have had as a colleague and doctor. BTW this is totally unsolicited, we need to praise great care whenever received to encourage MDs and other health care staff (nurses,PA’s, techs, office staff) to stick around during these challenging times.
Dr Hansen is outstanding, personable and a great communicator. She is very knowledgable in her field of Rheumatology. She also cares very deeply about every patient. Central Oregon is lucky to have her! I didnt fully realize how great she was until I had to move to another state and get rheumatology care elsewhere )-:
As a recent patient of Dr. Heather Hansen, I have had an excellent experience. I have found both her and her staff to be extremely friendly, helpful, and conscientious. She has been quick to identify a serious and previously undiagnosed problem, and where necessary make arrangements for referrals and additional resources. I truly believe that Dr. Hansen‘s early intervention may have been instrumental in saving my life. I highly recommend Dr. Hansen.
Dr Hansen is the absolute best & I don't say that lightly. She is so knowledgeable, thorough & informative not to mention kind that I find it difficult to say enough.
Dr. Hansen was a God send. When my symptoms began, my PCP was not able to diagnose the problem, so I was referred to several different specialists, who after running tests, could also not diagnose my symptoms. A friend, who was being treated by Dr. Hansen, recommended her to me. She was quickly able to diagnose my symptoms as systemic diffuse scleroderma.
