I’ve been a patient here for quite a while. Dr. Cushing has never been especially warm or personable, but I continued seeing her because I’ve always found her intelligent, knowledgeable, and someone whose medical judgment I trust. What has changed for me is the overall experience. In years past, I felt that she took more interest in my health as a whole. I have been going to Dr. Cushing for years. I have never had a bad experience. She is extremely knowledgeable. I appreciate her directness and she listens and always gives options. Always responds to my concerns.
I am convinced Dr Cushing had made up her mind about me before she opened the door to meet me. On the intake sheet, I was asked for two things I want to discuss, to which I replied ‘perimenopause’ and ‘weight gain’. She came into the room and said “I don’t want to talk about weight gain, everyone wants to talk about weight gain. Dr Cushing is excellent. She is patient, thorough and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this practice.
I’ve been going to Dr Cushing for the last handful of years after moving to Glen Ellyn. A good gynecologist is hard to find and with some of my medical issues I really needed someone who I trusted. Dr Cushing has been the most supportive and knowledgeable gynecologist I’ve worked with since my old gynecologist retired over 15 years ago.
