Very personable. 1st visit. Knows what she's doing. All staff very friendly! Big change most Places don't give you the time of day.
My husband was referred to Dr Banks. We saw her on 5/23/25, after she already had lab results. She refused to diagnose him without a biopsy, even though now that I'm aware, he was already in low stage 3 ckd. She scheduled a biopsy 3 weeks out, then when on a 3 week vacation. I was told not to change diet, and that if there was anything concerning, her staff would call me. In the meantime, my husband got sicker and sicker. I called almost daily trying to get answer. Dr. Banks is the best!!
I have been a patient with Dr.Banks for about two years now. I am impressed. All questions that I ask in regards to my care are always answered completely. She takes time to walk me through the care that is needed. Kidney disease can be very complicated for some people to control. I take this seriously. I'm blessed that she takes it seriously as well. It's a wonderful feeling when a patient knows that they have a great Doctor assisting them in their care.
My visit to Dr. Heather Banks was such a positive and uplifting experience! From the very friendly receptionist, to the calming instructions given by the medical assistant Maricella, ending with Tito the most gentle phlebotomist! But the most impacting time for me was my first visit with Dr. Banks. She has such a soothing and caring way about her that it felt as if I was talking with a friend.
