I have to mention the care I recieved after my Lumbar surgery. While in recovery and during my overnight stay I could not have managed without HAILEY KEY! During the night Hailey was quick to respond to me pushing the help button. I used this button very frequently due too not being able to attempt to get out of bed without help and constantly getting uncomfortable and needing to adjust. My wife went here because of stomach pain. We walked in the ER at 4:10 pm, there wasn't anyone in the waiting. The admission nurse took my wife's vitals and walked back to an exam room. Once in the exam room the nurse stated that Jason would be her nurse and would be right in. After waiting for half hour. My wife said, she was tired of waiting and very tired of hearing the nurses:diagonally across from her exam room talk about skin lotion and horse playing. Went to the ER with chest pain and was quickly brought back and examined. That part was great. They then gave me 50 mg of Hydroxyzine in combination with Lorazepam and forgot about me for an hour. I had to get anti-nausea because I was so loopy from the meds and they had me DRIVE MYSELF HOME. I’m no doctor, but I know you aren’t supposed to combine sedatives and have the patient drive home.
The hospital itself is kinda new and that’s the only good thing about it. The staffing is freaking horrendous. It took my son over 3 hours to get results on a damn xray. Are you kidding me. I have no words for how terrible and inexcusable that is. You can believe this won’t be my only complaint I write. If I could charge you for my time I would. Go anywhere else but here. It’s a damn ER. I could’ve got quicker results at a doctors office. The proximity to residences is nice but with these wait times any place in all of north... read more
