The hospital itself is kinda new and that’s the only good thing about it. The staffing is freaking horrendous. It took my son over 3 hours to get results on a damn xray. Are you kidding me. I have no words for how terrible and inexcusable that is. You can believe this won’t be my only complaint I write. If I could charge you for my time I would. Go anywhere else but here. I see a lot of bad reviews but I had a great experience. Staff was amazing. Light hearted and informative. I got right in and out. Thank you for a great experience! I am changing my review. UVA is a pathetic organization. I will strive to block all business for them. I am still being charged for a visit that was cancelled. I'm constantly having to call to tell them to stop billing me and all I get is "we're sorry". Anyone reading this, do not do business with UVA! Cancel any future appointments. Cancel any ties. We have received excellent care from this hospital beginning with the ER, to our week long stay and finally the surgical unit. The staff are very caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. We are very blessed to have such a wonderful hospital close by.
