I am a pacient from 7 years or more and I have a daughter I recuest 2 times to have some test done because she was not eating properly and her weight was not ok, I have this apoiment just to tell me that everything is normal she doesn’t need test I took her to a private doctor and they did all for her and my daughter had intestinal worms they give the right treatment and now we are ok and my daughter start to eat normal and put weight. Heathcot has a number of surgeries. Patients are all different and some thought should be given as to how their problems affect their ability to attend surgeries. The appointment set for 2 hours later on the same day for an epileptic who has difficulty walking because of the health problems he needs to see a doctor about was at a surgery more than 3 miles from where he lives, requiring 2 buses which run every half an hour should never have been made! I have been a patient for past 7 years and stayed because they are local to the house. They are the worst GP. When i try to reach out it feels like i have to beg for aid. They cancel appointment at the last minute and reschedule at York House which is a 90-120 minute journey turnaround and no parking. I have written a letter of complaint to the Surgery Manager- has not even been acknowledged. They just dont care. Time to move on.
Have had very good experiences lately. Got a phone appointment via the app and the systems have been efficient since then. Most of the receptionists are very friendly and helpful. I found one to be not very welcoming, but maybe she was having a bad day, she was still very efficient. No complaints.
