Well I have never used the heat and warmth fun because they only serve Detroit I wish that they would serve other places but I do know that they are probably mostly wheelchair accessible I'm guessing they help out with bills they help out with I wish they would help out with like you know coats and gloves and stuff because it does say the heat and warmth fund but yet I called them and they said oh well we don't do that and I'm like why not I kind of wish that they would they would serve other places too like around in Detroi... read more
I made a donation to this organization on 4/2/25, along with 5 others that same day. This is the only one of the 6 that has failed to provide me with a receipt, despite 7 calls and 2 messages to them on their website.My main concern was that it had not received my check, but its very poor/nonexistant response to my concern makes we wonder how well it is meeting its mission.If you want confirmation of your donation go to a different organization.
Im getting very frustrated. I applied and sent all documentation even payment. They tell me they mis calculated and want me to pay an extra $1000 dollars. I'm due for shut off. They will literally tell you something that's inaccurate and admit to it. Like oh well!!! I have multiple children and they prolonged the process so much. I can't even apply for other assistance in a timely fashion smh. Even the lady on the website look frustrated and unhappy don't look like she even got the assistance she needed !!!
I applied for propane assistance on February 11, 2025. I received an email February 14th saying additional information was needed. I uploaded the additional information a couple days later. My propane tank was very low & was going to run out. I ordered the minimum amount which was $460. I called several times inquiring about my application. I was told it takes around a month for assistance. Today March 12th I called again inquiring about my application.
