I need a stove HAHA, but would be pissed if something was damaged too....also the statement that you dont charge extra for having to do a little extra leg work to get it in the house was irrelivant because if you did charge then you didnt do a very good job with the estimate or thinking about the size of the front door and what you had to get through it....oops YOUR bad

My recent experience with this company is less than desirable..They damaged my new Anderson entry doors while trying to force them open them and do not want to take responsibility for the damage..The attitude of the owner was friendly when I purchased the wood stove. When I had to have the wood stove re-installed that seem to inconvience him although he was paid \$350.00 to re-install it. I could not reccommend them as they are lacking in customer service..
I purchased my pellet stove at the L.A. County Fair from Heat Tech in 2004...not knowing a THING about this type of heating...the salesman was nice and very helpful during the purchase at the fair...he delivered, installed and provided instruction at my home, and I have not had any problems...other people mentioned loud noise. I dont know much about that as this is the first heat stove Ive ever had. I dont think its that bad...it heats up this old mobile home perfectly. I bought a Heat Tech stove in 2006. It has worked most of the time. Other than a little pre-season maintenance each year it seems to do a good job. My wife objects to the noise it makes, she seems to think a pellet stove shouldnt make any noise. I do think some other stoves are a little quieter. It is difficult to watch TV late at night in the room with the stove on.This stove is sturdy and attractive. I find no major flaws. It is difficult to clean all the tubes and soon loses efficiency if not completely and properly clean... read more

My wife and I bought a free standing pellet stove from them and could not be happier. The people there were extremely helpful, very kind, and were always more than happy to answer any questions we had. They helped us pick out the perfect stove for our situation and great advice on installing it ourselves to save a little money. The stove is very high quality and works like a charm to keep our 1200 foot home very comfortable.
