We had an excellent experience working with Jack from Heartwood Theory on our custom basement built-ins. From start to finish, his craftsmanship, attention to detail, and professionalism were outstanding. The white oak cabinetry is absolutely beautiful — clean lines, perfect fit, and thoughtfully integrated lighting that completely elevated the space. Excellent craftsmanship and a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Our wall mouldings and built ins came out perfectly and the materials are very high quality. Cannot recommend working with Jack highly enough.
Jack has done several projects for me over the last few years - both routine repairs as well as custom woodwork pieces. He's great to work with from concept to finished product, very knowledgable, and someone I trust to do the job correctly, and to completion. One example - a section of my porch's wood planks were visibly rotting, which I had two other people "repair" on different instances. They caulk/fill and call it a day. Jack does amazing work. He is very creative, organized and listens to his customers. He finished our mudroom and made a wooden table for our fire pit. He designed and built a beautiful dining room table for us. I highly recommend Jack. You will love his work.
