Vancouver Island woodturner Ken Broadland salvages local Maple, Arbutus, Red Cedar, Yellow Cedar and other woods to create one-of-a-kind salad bowls, live-edge decorative bowls and vessels, salad spoons and other utensils, cutting-boards, platters, lidded containers and other useful products. Finishes are food-friendly Walnut oil and beeswax. Ken's delightful post-and-beam home studio is five minutes west of Duncan, BC, and is open year-round---please phone or email ahead to be sure he is available.
