Receptionists were lovely. The lung function technician Ala or Hala made me feel uncomfortable. Kept asking me to inhale more but I physically couldn't, that's the reason I went there in the first place. She could've been more polite and reassuring because relaxed patients yield better results, that's well known. She also gave a judgy look when I asked about one part of the test, only because I'm in healthcare myself and was curious, which was also disappointing. Hopefully just a bad day.

I went for both a Sleepscope and Heartscope appointment, and everyone I interacted with from booking over the phone to reception to the two nurses who saw me, was extremely friendly and informative. Seamless and positive experience all round.
This was an extremely distressing and unprofessional experience from start to finish. When booking the appointment, I was told the consultation would cost $30. At no point was I informed of a $180–$190 upfront cardiologist consultation fee or that Medicare would rebate part of this later. This lack of transparency is misleading and unacceptable. I just wanted to share my pleasant experience at Heartscope (Lalor) today. Initially, I was booked in for a Heart Test via dye injection into the veins. I chose that type of test because of my inability to jog or run on the treadmill due to my weight (115kg). Twice previously (elsewhere), I was coerced to jog and then run on these treadmill tests, and it nearly killed me.
