My mother was brought in at 3pm for mental issues. I asked for a drink at 10 pm. And was told by the house charge nurse they did not have time to give my mother some food or water really rudely. Her name was Becky. If you can not handle your job. Quit. Being rude when everyone is already having a hard time is not the way to live. This job takes alot of patience and calmness and you showed none of it tonight. Ill pray that you find a job that suits ur attitude.
I am very concerned about the condition of the Deaconess ER waiting area, particularly the restroom. The bathroom appeared to be in an extremely unsanitary condition, with urine on the floor, hair on the walls, floor, and toilet, and visibly dirty walls. The floor around the commode also appears to be sinking, which raises additional safety concerns. Took my husband in there. Watched as an elderly lady was brought in doubled over in pain, a bucket to throw up in crying begging to be seen. The attendants didn't seem to care. She begged for a place just to lay down because of the pain. They said there wasn't one she laid in three chairs. The lady must have been in her '80s. Watched as a mother was trying to get her infant an x-ray of their collarbone it was a repeat one that Shriners hospital in St. Louis had requested. There is no logical reason it should take over an hour to drop off a sample. None whatsoever. Considering the interaction itself takes 10 seconds and nothing is being worked while you are there.
Kind health care professional but the facilities are well kept. It doesn't have to be brand new to be a great place...but it does have to clear.
