If there was a no star I would give it I have 3 services with 3 different power companies and they are the worst by far the bill is four or five times higher and they can never explain why they will not call you back If I was sitting in a state representatives office I would make a strong case why they should sale out or merge with evergy needs a whole new look on management there hurting south east Kansas customers if your starting a new service record what they say and hold them to it
Having power with this company is annoying. It goes out an hour after it rains, damn near every time. Then it takes them 2-3 hours to get it turned back on each time. If you’re going with heartland rural electric, make sure you have a generator. You will lose power several times a month or more. Just a light rain is all it takes for the power to shut down, and it will always be an hour after the rain has passed. They will always blame the storm and wind even if there was no storm or wind.
