Ivan the chaplain was very good. He gave me so much to think about which helped. But my husband had Glioblastoma was at Copper Knoll Nursing home didn't receive the care I hoped for. They didn't check his file and took him to shower when he was deathly afraid of the water hurting his head. He yelled and hit out. The pain and confusion he felt in shower was overwhelming for him. It took me all afternoon to calm him. They also didnt put a hoyer pad under him again and 4 aides had to stand him up which was extremely difficult .... read more
Thank you to everyone at Heartland for the support and care they provided to our family. I especially need to commend Melissa, Deena, Brandon, MJ, Tiffany and George for being so caring and professional. They handled mom with so much care and love. They were always available and made us all feel at ease. You are literal angels and we are so grateful!
