I know of a lady who was trying to go through the heartland credit union as her lender to purchase a home. It is quite apparent that this lender does Not understand that a potential home buyer can NOT upgrade the property until the buyer acquires the legal ownership after closing to make any repairs or updates. It is not legal to engage in any alterations to property that still belongs to the seller. This credit union needs to get re-education in property rights and laws before attempting to become mortgage lenders!!!

Heartland requires you to change your password every so often, and if you fail to enter it properly they lock you out of your account. And if it's after regular business hours you can't access your account online until they get back in the office and you have to call in. If my very complex password would have just stayed the same, I wouldn't have a problem because I would remember it.

Gleysha has been my loan officer go to for at least the last 3 years maybe longer. She always goes above and beyond and I know I can count on her to follow through! If something isn't going to work she lets me know immediately and doesn't keep me waiting or guessing. She is straightforward and honest with her members. She is definitely an asset to Hartland credit Union!! we have and will continue to finance all of our auto loans through HCU because of the amazing service we receive.

3-4 times this year I have been left high and dry from access to MY OWN MONEY by banking through heartland. One of those times I was trying to take my dad out for Fathers day only to have my card declined, 🤬 get it together. This bank is a joke, the people are a disgrace, and their customer service is unspeakable. TOTALLY INCOMPENTENT!
I've been a member since 1975, needles to say, thank you for being there for me!
