I've been coming to Ohio Youth Ministries camp for many years now and Heartland doesn't disappoint. The paths are beautiful, the people are kind, and the presence of God is always felt on the entire campground. Thank you Heartland!
Family Camp was the only vacation we were ever able to take as children. My single mother and us 4 kids went for the first time to Big Prairie in the summer of 1983. We loved every minute of it. When we moved to Heartland, we never missed a summer. Our son has gone to Family Camp since he was one month old. He loves it. We have told our friends about Family Camp. Ohio Family Camp has been awesome already - and the week is barely at the half way point. Exciting to see what else God has in store for the second half.
Overall a good campground. However the paths and driveways need to widened and have gravel added. The pathways/driveways in the rear of the center are nearly impassable when it rains. That’s really my only complaint. But losing shoes and digging out vans is no fun.
Great food with healthy options! Super friendly staff. Clean bathrooms.
