I have purchased serveral items for this company with no real problems. This last time was a nightmare. I don't know if it is because of the move or not. They called me for my payment, I advised them the payment was in the mail they didn't receive it because it was sent to the old address. I did a payment over the phone. If the check showed up they were to sherd it, well it was cashed two months later and they said it was nothing they could do. No customer service help at all.

We apologize for the confusion. We are going to refund the amount that was sent via check. When checks get mailed in, they go to a Lockbox and are automatically deposited before we are notified within our office. We did not get the notification that your check was deposited from the Lockbox until July 16. We are not able to dispose of a check before it is deposited, but we will refund the money that your check was written for. Again, we apologize for the confusion. We thank you for your patience.
They only provide vague details on the website, namely about their practice of charging sales tax on interest as well as on the original purchase price listed. They also are charging an additional $10.50 to make an automatic recurring payment, which is preposterous. I thought I was getting ahead by paying an additional $54 per month to pay down the principle, but it appears as though they are just eating my addtional investment away in fees and then charging me the extra $10 just to pay them! STAY AWAY!!!!!! I will never refer or use them again. I have a carport that got damage due to strong wind, all the screws came loose and the building collaped against my house damaging my roof aswell... i am paying insurance on it, after contacting Heartland and sending all the proof of the damage carport it began a struggle getting help on repairs, Heartland told me to call **********, ********** send me back to Heartland and so on. Really you couldn't ask for better people or service! They are helpful and very understanding of how people need help ever now and then. I would have given them a 10 star but there wasn't an option.
On January 19, 2020 at 9:53 am i had drove out to the house to check on property. I had seen the repossessor had come and taken the building down. We had signed a document to have them repossess the building. The gentlemen I spoke with agreed to give us at least a weeks notice by Email that they would be coming, so that we could take down the fence.The crew that arrived decided they would take matters into their own hands. Absolutely horrible people that give you a run around. I only owed 750 left after a huge payment. Now it went up to 1700, plus rental fees and late fees! From their ******** page they seem to eat alot and scam people all day! There are some big cake eaters from what I can tell from there pics. STAY AWAY!
If you read your contract when signing, you will not be surprised about all of the policies and procedures implemented throughout the life of the contract. The customer service at Heartland is very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. If you're looking for the convenience of low monthly payments to purchase a portable building, I would definitely recommend working with this company!
This company is horrible. The people there are rude ridiculously. When I purchased the shed it was a completely different company and I was actually able to see the my balance decreasing. When they changed over to Heartland capital investments I was making payments and when I would call to check my balance the amount was the same as it was months before so I asked the representative why is my balance the same for whatever reason I was being charged some type of storage fee which is just crazy. 2018 I had 10x16 shed makes for my husband they Delivered day before we had Hurricaine Micheal. I had maked 9 payments on this shed total 1,500 they couldn’t tell me or give proof of where it went. Me and husband did not pay last month we let go back they change $20 late fee and they will schedule to come get soon as you miss a payment.
