My mom was here for just shy of 2 years. During that time she became very afraid of some of the staff. Thankfully she did not pass in this place. Don't let the fancy appearance fool you.
My mother lived there for over three years. It was a great place for her. The community of staff and residents made her feel at home and valued her personally. The care she received was top notch. I was at peace having her there. Communication from the staff about social events and happenings, as well as more urgent issues specifically regarding my mom were superb. Access to excellent medical care was easy and comforting. We will miss Heartis North Shore!
Shantay has been a blessing everyday she's here at Heartis,for example my sister Dawn and I were late today we're here everyday for breakfast with mom,Shantay stepped right in and sat with her and helped her eat her breakfast,then walked around ,held her hand and talked with her.Margir can sometimes be difficult especially in the morning,after walking Shantay noticed mom was looking sleepy and took her to her room.We came shortly after and she noticed ,asked me if I'd like a cup of coffee,got the coffee and a pitcher of wate... read more
