Very disappointed with the service here. I received a quote from Greg and went into the shop where the owner informed me I’d have to pay $100 more in labor than Greg quoted me for a gas log replacement. I should have walked away right then and there. My logs didn’t arrive for the installation date, so I was offered a loaner set which I haven’t been able to use because they were causing too much black soot build up. When the logs did arrive, I discovered Hearth and Home had ordered the wrong log set. So it’s now been almost 2 months and I’m still waiting for a simple gas to gas log replacement. I haven’t heard a peep since they were here last week and I expressed my dismay with the whole situation. Customer Service is obviously not a priority to this business.

Customer service is terrible. I have had them out 3 times to fix a problem, they had to order parts and it took them 3 weeks to do that after the service call. It's now been a month and a half and I haven't heard from them at all. Not a good way to keep customers happy

Very Surprised I had a brick fall out of my old wood stove. I went in to these guys since they were right down the street, and they gave me a brick for nothing. They also told me where i could find a poker set for cheaper.That kind of customer service isnt something you find everyday. I will probably be back for anything I need woodstove related. Awesome

Fabulous job – We purchased a gas log set and glass door for our fireplace in February. I went into the showroom not intending to buy, but with many questions. The young salesman filled me in on the gas log details and options and also gave me a rough estimate of the total cost of installation for our zero clearance fireplace. My wife and I came back several months later and ordered our logs and doors with the help of a very helpful salesman. I usually shop intensely for every major purchase, but this time I felt comfortable coming back to order from Hearthside and Home. Our doors were installed by Bruce, who did a fabulous job, and the logs and gas line by another installer, who also did a neat, tidy, and very professional job. We'll gladly recommend this company to friends, family, and even enemies. We are very pleased with our installation and took time out from sitting in front of the fire to write this.
