From our first step through the door, Hearthcrest has been phenomenal. We opted for a gas log in our older wood burning fireplace. The sales person patiently walked us through all the models. We received it earlier than expected, and the two gentlemen flawlessly installed it. It's a huge improvement from what we had before. We are so pleased with our purchase and highly recommend Heartcrest.
Service technician was friendly and helpful. I just find it extremely hard to understand that it cost $220 just for the technician to change out a switch in the wall to fix the fireplace. The cost was never discussed at any time. Knowledgeable but extremely expensive service costs.
Hearthcrest is the best option for fireplace installs and service in Grand Rapids. They were super great to work with, professional, competitive in cost, and when there was a faulty wireless module they even replaced it and came back out to install it free of charge. The service is top-notch and Karen and her team do an excellent job! Would highly recommend Hearthcrest if you are looking to get a nice fireplace, it's well worth it!
I can't say enough great things about Karen, her team and Anthony who installed our fireplace. They were amazing to work with and were prompt with all my questions and concerns. Karen & Anthony went above and beyond any of our expectations! Thanks to her and her team! I will recommend them to anyone who is looking to add a fireplace to their home!
Called for service in early February and got put on a 3 week waiting list. No problem. March rolls around and no phone call for scheduling an appointment. I had to call them 3 more times to finally get an appointment for April 25th. They give me a 2 hour window to show up. Unfortunately, I didn't hear them arrive when they did. They left. I called immediately and asked if they would come back. This was 3 minutes after they left and they refused to do so. I would never recommend this company for a service call.
