Contracted Hearth and Home (HH) to install a free-standing wood stove in October 2022. HH performed a visit to the house to confirm dimensions and scope, and we executed the contract. HH failed to install new flashing as part of their contracted scope. HH installed temporary flashing and told the inspector they would return to install the permanent fixture. The finished product is Beautiful. Customer service and communication with there clients needs work
Buyer beware! $125 to come to my home to LOOK at the problem. Then a second trip charge of $65/hour to come back to fix the problem. If you're lucky like I was, the technician won't be knowledgeable on fireplaces so you'll be paying, like I did, by the hour for them to learn how to repair my insert. Oh and they don't warrant their work if the part fails. So, all in, I spent over $250 to install $65 in replacement parts with no warranty.
