Top tier.
A great new, upscale, and much-needed addition to Blowing Rock's restaurant portfolio. The menu is not extensive but it's varied and has a balanced mix of protein options. There are new twists on familiar local and regional entree items so you'll find something comfortable, yet new (e.g. the turkey meatloaf.). Great food, drinks, and service
We’ve watched the Embers hotel going up, so we were keen to try the restaurant. It was excellent. We had the Burrata and shrimp tacos to start and split the short rib pappardelle — all super tasty. The Austin Hope wine was a steal at $12 per glass. Paige served us at the bar and was wonderful. We’ll be back!
Only 1 star because 0 isn’t available. Stood at the bar for 10 mins waiting for someone to help us, only to be told by another patron that he had to beg the bartender to make him a drink (might I add it was a ghost town in the building) It was the opening night event and couldn’t bother to at minimum come over to let us know we won’t be served.
