I feel like I can only blame myself for not doing more research. I definitely owe myself morethan that. I had hernia surgery just over two weeks ago. And I would just assume anybody that's had the hernia surgery knows how painful it is. I'd like to think I have a pretty high pain tolerance.But it is the most painful thing that I've been through. Online pre-registration eliminated any paperwork upon arrival. I was brought to the exam room 10 minutes prior to my appt. and seen by Dr. Lewis within 5 minutes of my scheduled appt. time. Paperwork was promptly completed after my consultation and examination. Very smooth process.
If you ask up front about pricing before deciding on a procedure, don’t count on their explanation of costs. I was VERY specific in asking about different charges (ex: pathology, radiology, anesthesia, etc) BEFORE scheduling as I could not pay any more than a specific amount. They assured me I would only be charged for X items.. lie. Now I am left trying to figure out how to pay extra charges I was not warned about.
