My mother was in hospital due to a reaction from chemo tablets. Her heart went into atrial fibrillation and she was taken to the cardiology ward. Unfortunately Professor Weerasooriya was assigned to her. Prof Weerasooriya came in to tell us my mother needed a pacemaker. Dr Rukshen Weerasooriya performed an ablation on me nearly 2 years ago now. Put simply it has changed my life. Professor Rukshen was absolutely amazing and has completely fixed my AF. Marlies, on reception has been fantastic as well. Extremely helpful and always has a great attitude. Nothing is ever too much trouble for her. Highly recommend these guys.
It's been a few years since Rukshen fixed my rhythm issues. He was so reassuring. Clearly not in it for the money, he appears to really love his work and have genuine concern with a great bedside manner. I've been without issue since my operation and am so grateful. I have referred a couple of people to him and they are of the same opinion as me. Best guy in the business.
