Erika was incredible. She helped me and my Sammy girl through a difficult time. Sammy was able to go peacefully without pain or fear. And I had time to grieve with her in our home. I cannot say enough how she made this difficult time, so comforting.

This past June/July my beloved cat, Willa Bean, had a fast decline due to assumed cancer. I was so so anxious and scared and frantically looking for other, more comfortable, end-of-life care options than a clinical vet practice setting. I had reached out to Heart of Vermont, who quickly and kindly answered my (many) questions. Dr. Bruner was available on such short notice when we had to go through with our euthanasia plans. When it was time Dr. Bruner gave me so much space and patience, I truly could not thank her enough. He... read more

Bug was so comfy in his little bed at home instead of at the stressful vet office. Erika gave me all the time and conservation I needed, and even helped me paint and stamp Bug's little ... read more

Our beloved cat was failing quickly, and our regular vet was short-staffed and could not come out for several days. We called Heart of Vermont and not only were their staff so sympathetic and understanding on the phone, they also managed to get us scheduled for the next morning. Dr. Erika did such a nice job letting us know what she was going to do and what to expect. After, upon our request, she curled up our cat for us so she looked like she was just sleeping. If you need end-of-life care for your pet, do not hesitate to c... read more

Our 13 year old golden had a very peaceful passing, on the couch with both of us there, and Erica was very supportive. I cannot thank her enough. Highly recommend.
