Very frustrating. No one seems to answer the phone. Said they hadn’t received my original referral in January, it’s now April! Resent referral 10/4/26, still don’t know if they have received it?! Not satisfactory.

My heart attack left me extremely anxious. In first meeting Dr Kahn, his calm demeanour put me at ease. He shared his knowledge, expertise and experience and explained everything in a way that gave me confidence and peace of mind before and after my surgery. I now feel terrific physically and with Dr Khan as my Cardiologist, I am looking to forward a most healthy future. Thank you Dr Kahn.
Dr Kalam is wonderful. He is very compassionate and has great interpersonal skills. His knowledge of cardiology and his willingness to communicate openly with his patients is second to none.
I highly recommend Dr Kashif Kalam at Heart of Canberra. He is thorough, knowledgeable, and takes the time to clearly explain findings and next steps in a way that is easy to understand. His calm and reassuring approach immediately puts you at ease. The appointment never felt rushed, and I felt confident I was receiving high-quality care. The clinic is well organised and welcoming, making the overall experience very positive. An excellent cardiologist and a great team.
