I was born in 1977 with complex heart. Back than, all babies and kids started at Colorado General (Universiry Hospital), then they had Childrens Hospital of Denver, then CH of Aurora, I stayed at Childrens hospital until my last 30's. My very first doctors were Wolf, Wiggins, Schaffer, my heart surgeons Dr. Clark and Campbell. I had the original BT Shunts in 1977 and 1979. I have no Sublclavian Artery in my arms, so they get my BP from legs and pulse from neck or listening to my heart. I have had 4 surgeries. Between Childre... read more

Wow. Whoever is scheduling today in this department should reconsider their profession. I made an appointment for my kiddo and was asked to reschedule due to being scheduled with the wrong provider, when we called per their request, their original provider was full again as they were when we scheduled to begin with hence the different provider we are scheduled with. The best pediatric cardiologists on the planet! We live out of state and the Drs. were great and very caring and professional. The healthcare system in general is flawed but the care is excellent at Children's Hospital Colorado, if you live in NM and you have to go out of network go here!
