We moved my father-in-law to Heart Homes almost three years ago. We had no bad experiences with them at all. They communicated whenever he needed anything, about his medications, when the doctor saw him, everything. We never found his room or bathroom in any state of disarray or unclean. He was dressed whenever we went and we never saw any other of the residents in a bad way either. in 2019 we found Heart Home at Bay Ridge near our home, for our Mom. At first before CoVid, it was a pleasant place, however, there were not many, if any, activities for the residents. The transportation vans were not operating. If I ever mentioned anything to the managers, they would be defensive. AFTER CoVID, the Heart Home at Bay Ridge got worse! The place looked dirty, and my Mom's hearing aids had been kept in a drawer during CoVid and we had to get them repaired due to not being given to my Mom. On Mother's Day my husb... read more
