At check-in, I was unexpectedly told I had a $600 deductible and that they would charge $500 upfront. This was never disclosed when I made the appointment, nor was I contacted after my insurance was processed. When I asked what would happen if this was my only visit, I was told the $500 would not be refunded and would instead be applied to future appointments and a sonogram—appointments I had not scheduled and was not sure I would need. I had an excellent experience at this office. Joseline, the receptionist, was exceptionally professional and made the entire process smooth from the moment I arrived. Check-in was efficient, and she was readily available to answer any questions I had. It is clear that she is highly organized and genuinely committed to ensuring patients feel welcomed and well supported.
