I have been a patient of Heart and Family Institute for ten yearsEvery doctor I have needed has been exceptional, knowledgeable, and professional. The Institute itself needs to do some serious revamping as to how patients call in for medications not refillable without contacting the doctor. Leaving five messages in two weeks on a recording with no results or response is unacceptable and negligible. I just got off the phone with Jorge, the scheduler. I tell you he is professional and patient. I was very impressed by how he was able to schedule all of my appointments right when I wanted them. It is refreshing to have someone kind on the phone.

I would not even want to give it one star. I've read reviews on Google and most of the positive ones must have been faked because this is the absolute worse health care place I've ever been to. They are rude and very unprofessional, the staff has no idea what they are doing, the place is set up like a Covid spreading party. Everyone nose to nose jammed into a small space trying to get checked in.. There is no organization, the receptionists are nasty and arrogant and treat you like you are some charity case. Drs are good but staff is awful. Slow to get referrals and to send necessary paperwork to other Drs, Wait for 20 minutes to get them to answer the phones. Do not go to this practice!
