The plot thickens, as you aren't even allowed to make extra payments towards your loan amount, you either need to be wealthy and pay off a 5000$ hearing aid all at once or get stuck paying extra interest for the full term. Why not base payment date schedule on a typical biweekly pay schedule (pick one friday you get paid, bill 4 weeks later, repeat)? After reading reviews of how great the service is for the most part, I find it very disheartening as a senior on fixed income that a business primarily aimed at seniors cannot provide exact pre-authorized debit days instead relying on little more than an educated guess. I will be rethinking my options regarding hearing care, as every dollar counts and I could not afford to be out any money, as I'm sure most people could relate.
Poorly managed, unclear communication, i do not want to guess when my account will be debited, but this is the case. Their inability to provide a printout of payment dates or clear communication has cost me over 200$ in the time i have had my hearing aids. Steer clear of this payment plan if you are on a budget, for the wealthy only, as they cannot clearly communicate payment dates beyond "the 30th", since you sign and agree to the 30th, they will fall back on this despite how unclear it is.
