The plot thickens, as you aren't even allowed to make extra payments towards your loan amount, you either need to be wealthy and pay off a 5000$ hearing aid all at once or get stuck paying extra interest for the full term. Punishing the poor yet again in addition to.... Poor communication regarding payment dates, you pick a rough date but if it falls on a weekend or a stat, or for some reason if its before the last day of the month that is a friday (payday), it will still come out. Why not base payment date schedule on a typical biweekly pay schedule (pick one friday you get paid, bill 4 weeks later, repeat)? After reading reviews of how great the service is for the most part, I find it very disheartening as a senior on fixed income that a business primarily aimed at seniors cannot provide exact pre-authorized debit days instead relying on little more than an educated guess. I will be rethinking my options regarding hearing care, as every dollar counts and I could not afford to be out any money, as I'm sure most people could relate.
