For background, I’ve worn hearing aids my whole life and have relocated to Australia from America. The relationship with Hearing Innovations for our family has not been happy. After very many return trips to get the aids comfortable and effective, it was determined that perhaps wax was causing the problem. The instruments used by the audiologist to clear the wax were so inappropriate, they have caused ongoing pain. Ultimately a doctor removed the wax painlessly.
