I understand that approx 20% of your customers are workers or self-funded retirees ( not pensioners). If this is so, then they will be most unhappy with your recent decision to not trade on Saturdays, thus forcing them to take time off work. The natural result will be that they simply go elsewhere. What business can afford to risk 20% of their client base? Then, of course, there are the other 80%, who, like me, will sometimes have an emergency on a Saturday.
