Absolutely grateful for such great service from the individuals who helped me get my hearing aid. Missy is at the front reception is wonderful! She was helpful in getting the process started to get my hearing aid, there was a bit of a wait for my hearing aid, but Missy communicated well and kept me updated. Andrew helped program my hearing aid, gave me directions on how to use and care for the device. I feel much more confident in my hearing, since getting the help I needed from Hear Canada!
I was absolutley shocked at the sexism in this business. I visited for my 82 year old family member, who is my neighboors uncle. The women at the front desk were incomfotably friendly. The larger lady wouldnt stop staring at me and made uncomfortable comments about joining me the in washroom. I had to wait to get to Timmie. This trip occured after my best friends uncle, who is a shy quiet gentleman had 3 issues booking an "assessment". Without going into a lot of detail, I want to give a huge thank-you to Missy, Victoria and Andrew at the HearingCanada Centre on Lakeside Terrace in Barrie. Visiting from out of town, I noticed my elderly father's hearing aid had stopped working, making communication virtually impossible. After an initial panicked call to HearCanada and speaking to Missy, she took over and with the added help of Victoria and Andrew, they absolutely exceeded my expectations. I couldn't be happier. Thank-you all, so much.
First I would like to say I have been wearing hearing aids since I was 21 I am now 71 years young, never and I mean never have I ever had such an incredible experience. I was seen by Genny Clark and what an amazing lady she is, my hearing is about as bad as it can get without being deaf which I am without my aids, Genny took such wonderful care of me that as I sit here hours later I am still in "awe".
