Great experience, the Speech therapist Melissa Dixon is very thorough, and knows how to work with kids of all ages. Have a child with a severe oral aversion due to other conditions resulting in refusal to feed orally and not keep his food down. She worked above her skills to identify a potential cause helping us find appropriate specialist. She also helped with tools and techniques. We have been with Hear Me Speak for 3+ years and cannot say enough about the impact they have had on our son’s life. He has flourished in the program and especially under the care of SPT, Melissa. She has a gift to treat each child with respect and kindness while treating their individual need and encouraging them to meet individual goals in a fun environment. I can’t say enough positive things about Shelley, Speech Therapist. After chronic ear infections which resulted in tubes and speech development issues, my daughter started going to her for speech therapy at the early age of 2. After going to therapy consistently once a week until she was almost 4, my daughter was a totally different child. Melissa the Speech Therapist is the absolute best. She has done wonders for our son! He is making strides with every session. She genuinely cares about the patients and over time we become like family! I can't recommend her enough!
