I’ve been with Dr. Andrew Karen since March of 2017. He has been my OB/GYN since then and has delivered all 4 of my babies. He’s knowledgeable, professional, kind and a good listener. He’s always polite and never made me feel uncomfortable. He answers any and all questions, he never made me feel dumb for not knowing or understanding something. The condescending attitude of the girl on the phone made me decide I should book somewhere else. She tells me " I WAS TOLD" , when I clearly wasn't told. I'll skip the childish attitudes thank you.
I had seen a male doctor (dr. Karen) here a few years ago and was told I “probably” had endometriosis and I was “probably” infertile. I was told this WITHOUT ANY TESTS OR A DIAGNOSTIC LAPAROSCOPY. Saying that to an 18 YEAR OLD GIRL. Is EXTREMELY GROSS and not to mention IRRESPONSIBLE. I left that day crying and reported him to the front desk and after that I saw the PA who wasn’t much better. She was rude and not very empathetic at times. I would NEVER recommend this place. And I would give 0 stars if I could.
My daughter has been bleeding for 20 days straight (clumping and soaking pads) and they just told her it was a bad period and could not do anything without and ultrasound. No blood test for anemia, NO PHYSICAL, nothing! Charged her $200 with a prescription for birth control! I wanted to leave work and make a scene. I was livivid!. How dare they take advantage of her because she's young and not help in any way but take her money. This place is an atrocity!
