Booked a 9am appointment and arrived on time to find the clinic closed until 9:30. Called twice with no answer. Received a callback at 9:25 asking if I could return. I had taken time off work for this appointment. The staff member was apologetic but the disruption wasn't recoverable. This is disappointing as I booked based on their exceptional rating and did not receive the quality of service I expected. Booking elsewhere.

My mom has been seeing Derek at Healthy Steps Pedorthic Clinic for several years, and we couldn’t be more grateful for his care. Derek is exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, honest, and polite. What stands out most is his patience and genuine kindness — he truly cares about his patients’ well-being. In the fall of 2024 I purchased three pairs of Sigvaris compression stockings for about $390. During the next few months they started sagging and after 6-8 hours would be around my ankles. I phoned Healthy Steps from Florida and they asked me to insure that all three pairs were doing the same thing. Being in a warm climate I didn't wear them very much but connected with them in early 2025 to let them know all three pairs would not stay up. After changing my lifestyle considerably and losing 75lbs (from significantly obese to "normal" according to BMI), I decided to consult with both Derek for potential feet issues since I was walking 12km per day.
