We have been taking our daughter to Healthy Roots for over a year now and it has really helped our whole family. We work with Catie and absolutely love her! Our daughter looks forward to her sessions and they always help us with day to day situations. I'm so glad we decided to start coming to Healthy Roots, it was one of the best choices we have made for our family.

My wife and I were referred to Cindy with Healthy Roots Counseling by another in the same industry. We were a bit nervous since our 7 year old had never been to a counselor. What we found was a very kind and gentle counselor who knows her stuff. She created an environment that allowed my daughter to be comfortable. Which, in turn, allowed my daughter to get the most out of her play therapy. I could not recommend Cindy more.
Our daughter spent 2 years in an orphanage in China before we adopted her. She had areas that needed healing that were stunting her emotional growth. We looked into several options and Healthy Roots Counseling was highly recommended. Cindy utilized play therapy and also gave us wise counsel as a family. As a result, our daughter has few emotional incidents and is growing emotionally. She is relating much better to her peers and is growing in her confidence. We have been working with Cindy for just over a year now. Cindy has been amazing! We came to her in a very difficult time in my sons life and she has helped him tremendously. He loves Ms. Cindy and looks forward to seeing her each time. She really cares about what your going through and does everything she can to help. I would highly recommend Healthy Roots Counseling!
