One positive is that my parents liked Sophia. However, the office called my parents today to tell them that their appointments next week were cancelled and they were basically told to find a new doctor as well because, as of November 1st, they can only accept Medicare clients. I want to emphasize that it is currently October 29th. As a healthcare provider you have ethical responsibilities to provide adequate notice (which is more like a month, not a week) and to at least provide referrals to different doctors. Xxxxxx xxxxx prescribed me Paxil with no refills then healthy partners goes bankrupt (too bad if not i could lawyer up) and no one can get the office in royal palm on the god damn phone. My pharmacy can’t get any response. I’m on day 5 of withdrawals from a medicine that is very important not to stop cold turkey. Not even the answering service can reach xxxxxx xxxxxx. Waited six weeks for a referral for my wife to see a neurologist. Still waiting. Called four times and was told there was no request in her file. Changed PCP today. Irresponsible, inept, and incompetent staff from the PAs to whoever answers the phone. Can't speak to the doctors - we rarely saw one. If you want to experince how broken our health care system is "Healthy Partners Primary Care" is a good place to start.
I love this office. I never have to wait for an appointment or in the waiting area. No problems with referrals or prescription refills. The office staff is above par. I will continue my relationship with them. Ima very happy with this office. 2/17/23 I am afraid I need to edit this post because everything at this office has changed.
