I started going to see Karen when I was planning to get my tongue tie “snipped” by a dentist. She worked with me before and after the procedure, including providing exercises I could do while sitting in traffic I sleep better now, and my headaches are much less frequent. Karen is enjoyable to work with and very encouraging. I highly recommend.
Karen is highly knowledgeable in her field, but is also such a caring and kind person. I always enjoy my appointments with her, and she has given me tools that I can use for the rest of my life. She is the reason that I am not going through a painful jaw surgery. I was referred to Karen by my orthodontist for persistent problems with anterior open bite and jaw pain. I went to see Karen for a second opinion about a tongue tie. After her assessment she was honest with me and told me in her opinion I needed to see an orthodontist. Even with the knowledge that my orthodontist has their own myofunctional therapists and knowing I might not need to come back to see her, I found Karen's professionalism, honesty, and ethics fantastic. I have already recommended two people to see her and if ever I need more support I wouldn't hesitate to go see her myself.
After years of speech therapy my son’s third grade teacher commented that he still could not understand much of my sons speech.
