Cute little store. Smaller than we expected
Healthy Horizons is a great place to get lactation help and they have such cute clothing as well .... have to remember to stop here for the next baby shower! I am writing this review because Sheila Janakos doesn't just help new parents in her store/lactation support center but she is also a generous soul who helps the community. I have been on the board of a nonprofit for 32 years now called Nursing Mothers Counsel which provides free lactation support via phone with volunteers trained in lactation and counseling support. The owner Sheila is very sweet and friendly to speak with! She was able to help answer any questions I had. The store also has a very cute collection of clothing.
I don't like to think what my breastfeeding journey would have looked like had I not had the wonderful help and guidance I received from Erin, Maggie and Sheila. I will never forget laying in the hospital, recovering from my C-section, while my husband sat across from me reading aloud an email from Sheila who had replied to our request for help on a Sunday evening.
