A grocery chain alternative Healthy Home Economist Market provides a selection of both conventional food products as well as organic choices. They have fresh produce, a small meat counter, bulk items, frozen foods, refrigerated foods, cleaning products as well as a large selection of supplements. Healthy Home Economist Market Their prices are a bit high but they do have some hard to find items. The store is neat and clean. There wasn't really anyone around to ask questions. The store is not very busy so you are in and out quickly.
Home Economist On the right day, the staff here can be very helpful and friendly. On the wrong day, they can be too opinionated and argumentative. Overall, this is the one place in the area where you can find most natural, allergen free items you may need.
Home Economist is great for hard to find items The Home Economist is my 'go to' store for hard to find herbs, supplements and remedies. They also have a good selection of allergen free items, cheeses, organic produce and other unique items.
I have shopped at this store for the past 12 years, but my last few visits have been so frustrating....more and more products have been out of stock. Today they were out of bulk chia seeds, bulk raw pumpkin seeds, Late July saltines, cilantro, my brand of probiotics, Newman's Own mints, vegan omega-3 capsules, SoDelicious yogurt in raspberry and strawberry banana, and Ark Naturals Granular Greens. There's no point in driving all the way to Davidson if half the items I need aren't in stock. I'll be shopping online for now on.
I love the wonderful real food options found in this store and the fact that Hair 180 products are found in this store!
Kati in the vitamin & supplements department was very patient and knowledgable. She helped me find a variety of supplements while answering many of my questions. I also felt she was not trying to upsell or sell just a particular brand. Thank you.
