I would highly recommend Healthy Home for anyone looking to improve the efficiency of their house. We moved into our current home (90 year old Tudor) about 1 year ago, and quickly were blown away by the cost of heating and cooling our highly inefficient new home. We had a home energy audit performed by Chris, but delayed having the improvements performed until we had our feet back underneath us a bit and had done a bit more research. We've had a very positive experience with Healthy Home. Our 100-year-old post-Victorian house was grossly inefficient. Chris, the Healthy Home consultant, came out to do an energy audit, and showed us through infra-red imagery all the places our house was losing heat due to insulation settling. Healthy Home did a free energy assessment of our house (through the NYSERDA program) and provided us with a detailed analysis and recommendations. Work was done professionally and I was always confident that Jon and his crew knew what they were doing. Two days after the work was completed, Jon performed a quality inspection and pointed out a few minor things he wanted to change and did it on the spot.
